I work a 9-5 job, and with that comes waking up exhausted and not wanting to get ready for the workday. I give myself about 30 minutes before having to head out the door. To get ready for my day, I have mastered getting ready under 20 minutes so that it gives me a little time to make some coffee afterwards to kickstart the day!

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional: Matte Rescue Invisible-Finish Mattifying Gel

After I moisturize my face, I apply about a pea-sized amount of the Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional: Matte Rescue Invisible-Finish Mattifying Gel (that’s a long name!) to my T-zone. This product absorbs into the skin quickly so I don’t have to wait before applying the rest of my makeup.

Becca Cosmetics
Aqua Luminnous Perfecting Concealer

To cover my dark circles / dark spots, I apply Becca Cosmetics Aqua Luminnous Perfecting Concealer under my eyes and the perimeter of my mouth. I then blend the concealer in with my ring fingers.

bareMinerals ORIGINAL Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15

For the last 5+ years I have been using the bareMinerals ORIGINAL Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15. If I am looking for fuller coverage with this product, I go in with a more dense brush like the e.l.f. Ultimate Blending Brush, but for my everyday makeup application I use a more fluffy brush like the EcoTools Full Powder Brush. If I am having a rough skin day and want to cover more blemishes/redness the more dense brush helps to focus the product in those areas yet still allows me to blend the powder foundation over my entire face with ease.

Wet n Wild MegaGlo™ Contouring Palette

To add some definition/color back to my face I dip into the deep shade of the the Wet n Wild MegaGlow Contouring palette with my a fluffy angled brush like this one and apply it to my temples, sides of my nose, and cheeks. I actually go in with the same brush and apply the lightest shade under my eyes. The shade is a little too light for me, so going in with the light shade with a little bit of the deeper one actually helps with blending in and making it not look as stark white.

WetnWild Color Icon™ Blush – Rose Champagne

The WetnWild Color Icon™ Blush in Rose Champagne is the perfect blush for those with fair/medium skintones. It gives a very natural glow with a subtle hue of a dusty rose. I apply this with the SAME brush (I know, kinda crazy using this brush for the bronzer, highlight, and blush!) I used previously and apply the blush to the apples of my cheeks, temples and tip of my nose. Using the same brush for all 3 colors has not affected my makeup application/made it look muddy. Of course if you have more brushes to use, go ahead and use different brushes per product! For me – if i’m in a rush I always try to use the same brush to make it faster to apply my makeup.

Pixi Natural Brow Duo

My brow hairs have a mind of their own so to tame them I apply a coat of the Pixi Brow Duo in Deep Brunette, (I only use the gel) when i’m in a rush I don’t want to take the time to use the pencil because I take forever when working with a pencil.

Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Big Shot Mascara

For eyes I use my finger tip and apply the WetnWild Blush I used on my cheeks and apply it to my entire lid. For crease I use a fluffy blending brush and use the WetnWild contouring palette in the brown and sweep it into my crease and outer V. I like to keep my eye look simple, it’s always a lot of fun to incorporate the same products but in different areas of the face to make the look tie together. For lashes I apply 1 coat of the Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Big Shot Mascara to just my top lashes.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain- Honey

Finishing things off, I apply my Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Honey. It’s the perfect natural lip color that has a refreshing minty feel! I’ve had this balm for over a year now so the name rubbed off, oops!

With all of these products, I feel more put together and ready to start my day. What are your favorite products that you use when you’re on the go?
